Suture Practice Kit Setup

Here are the details of the suture kit I use. It doesn't have to be this exact one but basically what you'll need are:

• Silicone practice pad - I use this one. Definitely better than trying to sew an orange

• Surgical kit including needle driver, toothed forceps, suture scissors and suture - I use this all-in-1 surgical kit. It's nice because it comes with a bunch of suture

• Tip: If you need more suture, go to your OR and ask for any expired suture they have - there's always some lying around

• Practicing in surgical gloves also makes a huge difference by making it more realistic. I use these size medium gloves. Remember to get latex free if you're allergic.
